How to Become a New Patient at Mango Pediatrics

Becoming part of the Mango Pediatrics family is a simple, four-step process:

Step 1 — Schedule a Complimentary Meet & Greet. Call or text us at 904-853-1763 to book a relaxed, no-pressure conversation with Dr. Azam. This is your opportunity to ask questions, tour the office, and see if we're the right fit for your family.

Step 2 — Review Membership Details. Mango Pediatrics is a private, membership-based practice. We don't bill insurance — that's what allows us to keep our panel small and our visits long. We'll walk you through membership options, what's included, and how families use HSA/FSA funds when applicable.

Step 3 — Complete New Patient Enrollment. Once you decide to join, we'll guide you through simple enrollment paperwork and help coordinate the transfer of your child's medical records from any prior pediatrician.

Step 4 — Schedule Your First Visit. Your first visit is a comprehensive, unhurried appointment where Dr. Azam gets to know your child fully — medical history, development, family context, and any concerns on your mind.

That's it. No phone trees. No rushed intake. Just a real conversation about your child's health

When Should I schedule

We recommend scheduling your prenatal consultation in your third trimester, around 28–36 weeks of pregnancy. However, we’re happy to meet you earlier if preferred!


Expecting twins or a high-risk baby? We offer specialized guidance to ensure you feel fully supported.
