Welcome

Welcome to Mango Pediatrics!

A different kind of pediatric practice for Jacksonville families.

If you've ever left a pediatric appointment feeling rushed, unheard, or handed a prescription without a real conversation — you already understand why Mango Pediatrics exists.

We're a small, private, concierge pediatric practice built around one idea: your child deserves more than seven minutes. More than a checklist. More than a physician who meets them for the first time at every visit.

They deserve a pediatrician who truly knows them.

Meet Dr. Rubina Azam

Hello, and thank you for being here.

I'm Dr. Rubina Azam — board-certified pediatrician, fellowship-trained in Integrative and Holistic Medicine at the University of Arizona, and certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine. After more than 15 years caring for children in Panama City, Florida, I opened Mango Pediatrics in Jacksonville to practice medicine the way I always believed it should be practiced: unhurried, personal, and rooted in the whole child — not just the symptom in front of me.

At Mango, I take the time to listen. I look for root causes, not quick fixes. And I stay reachable to my families — because parents shouldn't have to navigate their child's health through a phone tree.

What Makes Us Different

Unhurried, 30–60 minute visits. Real conversations, careful exams, and thorough answers — every time.

Direct access to your pediatrician. Text, call, or email me. No gatekeepers. No middle layer.

Same-day sick appointments. When your child needs to be seen, they're seen today.

After-hours availability for members. Illness doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we.

Whole-child, root-cause care. We look at nutrition, sleep, gut health, development, environment, and emotional wellbeing — not just the symptom of the moment.

Continuity from newborn through young adult. The same trusted physician, from the first breath to the college years.

A Private, Membership-Based Practice

Mango Pediatrics is a private concierge practice. We do not bill insurance. Instead, families join through a simple monthly membership that covers unhurried visits, direct access, and personalized care — without the constraints of a traditional insurance-based model.

This is what allows us to keep our panel small, our visits long, and our care truly personal.

You can learn more on our Membership page — or, better yet, come meet us in person.

Come See If We're the Right Fit

The best way to know whether Mango Pediatrics is right for your family is to sit down and talk. We offer complimentary meet and greet visit for prospective families — a relaxed conversation, no pressure, no commitment.

We'd love to meet you.
